  • Wastewater reuse projects

Water treatment membrane technology plays a vital role in wastewater reuse projects. By using microfiltration (MF), ultrafiltration (UF), nanofiltration (NF) and reverse osmosis (RO) membranes, suspended solids, colloids, organics and dissolved salts in wastewater can be effectively removed, and water recycling can be realised. Microfiltration membranes are mainly used in sewage and wastewater treatment; ultrafiltration membranes are widely used in sewage, wastewater treatment and reuse and feed water purification; nanofiltration membranes are mainly used in purified water, softened water, non-ionised water and seawater desalination; and reverse osmosis (RO) membranes can be used in seawater desalination and other fields. These technologies not only reduce wastewater discharge, but also improve the efficiency of water resources, which is of great significance for environmental protection and sustainable development.

  • High Purity Water Project

In the high-purity water project, water treatment membrane technology is mainly used for the preparation of ultrapure water in the electronics, pharmaceutical and other industries. Reverse osmosis membrane (RO) and electrodeionisation (EDI) technologies are key technologies in high purity water preparation, they can effectively remove ions, organics and micro-organisms from water to ensure that the water quality reaches the required purity. In addition, ultrapure water polishing technologies, such as mixed-bed ion exchange, further purify the water to meet the extremely high water quality requirements of the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries. The application of these technologies enables high-purity water projects to meet the needs of high-end fields such as the production of precision electronic devices.

  • Drinking water project

In drinking water projects, water treatment membrane technology is mainly used for municipal water supply and domestic water purification. Ultrafiltration (UF) and nanofiltration (NF) membranes are the core technologies in drinking water treatment, which can effectively remove microorganisms, colloids and organic matter from water, while retaining minerals in the water to provide healthy drinking water. Compared with traditional processes, membrane technology has higher stability and lower use of chemicals, providing a strong guarantee for drinking water safety.

  • Medical use water project

Membrane technology plays an important role in medical water projects where water quality requirements are extremely stringent. Medical water, such as dialysis water and water for injection, must be sterile and non-pyrogenic. Reverse osmosis (RO) membranes combined with ultraviolet sterilisation ensure the safety of dialysis water. Water for injections is even more demanding, often using a combination of distillation and RO, as well as aseptic storage and distribution systems to meet the high standards of medical water.

  • Other projects

In other water treatment projects, such as desalination and brackish water treatment, automation technology improves fresh water yield and quality by optimising steps such as pre-treatment, reverse osmosis and post-treatment. Automation systems can automatically adjust operating parameters to suit different water quality and environmental conditions, reducing membrane contamination and energy consumption.

  • Special seperation project

In special separation projects, water treatment membrane technology is mainly used for material concentration, dye wastewater treatment, and protein separation in biopharmaceuticals. Nanofiltration membrane and electrodialysis technologies play a role in selective separation in these fields, such as nanofiltration for the separation of substances with molecular weight differences and electrodialysis to deal with acid and alkali recovery. Downstream purification in biopharmaceuticals requires ultrafiltration and microfiltration to remove viruses or cellular debris to ensure product purity and safety.
